I had a nice stay at this hotel, which is a good deal in St Hélier. The room was OK, very clean, so was the bathroom. Minor point about this bathroom, it may be time to revamp it a bit, "reluctant" flushing, showerhead somewhat anaemic (and no hand shower!), and those dreaded hot and cold water taps on the sink,... My wife and I stayed at the Mornington last year during the week of the Jersy Air Show in September. The owners were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They were willing to accomodate our requirements. Hotel was very clean with helpful staff, home made marmalade at breakfast was delicious.and The hotel has a lot of character, as have... More

I booked this hotel because of previous reviews and stayed for four nights with my husband. The deco is a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The bathroom was reasonable size always with hot water and a powerful over the bath shower. Traffic noise is noticeable at the front of the hotel but didn't... More

Stayed here for one night due to its proximity to Bohemia restaurant where we had a table booked. This place is like stepping back into the 1970s. We were allocated a suite with a 4 poster bed. The walls were wood chip and cork but the bed was wonderfully comfortable and the hotel owners were lovely. We really enjoyed our... More

As we were visiting Jersey for a few days, I looked on this site and saw the reviews for this Hotel, which the majority were pretty good, so decided to book here for a couple of nights. On arrival we noticed that the reception was a bit dated, but the guy on reception was very friendly, we made our way... More

This is a very friendly family run hotel with a very nice breakfast served by a lovely waitress. Rooms and decor are a bit dated and not very big with some being unable to fully open wardrobe doors as beds too close and not able to move beds. Bathrooms are very small also. We asked to be moved from our... More

Stay there every time we pop over from Guernsey which is quite often. Christine and Phil really lovely and had a good old time chatting to Phil in the bar and playing all the old songs on the juke box. Absolutely lovely breakfast, cereal, croissants, yoghurt, ham and cheese platter or fresh fruit plus toast jam, teas, coffee and orange... More

Clean, well run, reasonable priced facility, the breakfasts are great and makes a big change from cooked "Full English" fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, toast, and to finish off creamy Jersey Yoghurt! well placed for easy walk into St Helier with loads of good quality restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. Also bus station about 10 minutes walk

The Mornington Hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the delights of St Helier and Jersey as a whole. Under a 5 minute walk from the main shopping streets, with a late opening convenience store just around the corner you have everything you need on the doorstep. My fiancee and I booked in for a 3 night break and were made... More

The place has real personality and heart. The staff are all dedicated and the breakfast had many homemade components which were excellent. I happen to be a vegan but this was no issue to the hotel, and I was provided with several items brought in specially. The bar has a bit of a Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart theme and... More
