Travelled up from South Wales to stay at the Riverside for a 5 day holiday an enjoyed every minute of our stay, the rooms were lovely and fresh, the food was very good and the team of staff were spot on, very welcoming indeed. Have been working nearby for 3 weeks, and used the Riversdide Monday through to Friday for the 3 weeks. Its great to stay at a place that knows what it wants tp be. stayed four days on a business thing. Pleasent welcome and staff, especially Hayley and Lyn. Good breakfast on warm plates I love that! Sample the evening menu and the Carvery both were fine, the homemade Pasty thing well its huge. Great real ales, room clean and comfortable bathrooms spotless and i like that to. A winner alround i thought! More

Nice welcome, very efficent chap on reception, showed my to my room, which was warm and welcoming. Hice comfy bed and it was quiet, with a good size bathroom pretty newly refurbished i would say. Food was fine nice plentiful breakfast served bt a sparky waitress, great first thing in the morning. Also tried the carvery and again great value.... More

A lovely evening, great service, stunning food, accommodating chef who cooked specific requests, lovely friendly staff, especially Lyn who really went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. Loved the room, fresh, funky and perfect end to a lovely evening! I would highly recommend!!!!!! More

Toured the west country of the UK, doing my geneolagy thing, and came across The Riverside Hotel by chance.
