Dear Sir/madam, My family and I booked a deluxe 4 Woodland Lodge at Haulfryn Finlake (no 28) from 6th - 10th May. The main purpose of our holiday was to relax, enjoy the facilities and above all take our two young children swimming in the pools. Unfortunately our experience was not what we expected. First the Lodge - whilst comfortable... More

Spotlessly clean, furnished beautifully, sauna spotless, two bathrooms. Staff were amazing. Watched the sunset over Haytor. Met the wildlife, fattest squirrells ever that we fed from our hands. Lovely clean park. Canonteign Falls, Becky Falls and South Devon Steam Railway a must. Though I would skip the Otter Sanctury as there is nothing there apart from 4 nocturnal Otters. Buckfast... We have just had the most amazing weekend at Finlake. We were lucky with the weather but it would have been just as good if it hasn't been. There were 3 families in our group, all in different types of accommodation. We had a standard wood lodge, which was very warm and cosy with central heating and even a dishwasher!... More

We stayed in Lodge 52, which was in one of the quietest areas, and we also thought one of the nicest parts, with views across the fields from the good sized balcony. The Hot Tub (read Jacuzzi) was fantastic, especially when it got dark and you could gaze through the tree canopy and see so many more stars than normal... More

We stayed in a platinum cabin, it was very clean, very spacious, TV in the bedrooms, a large hot tub and comfortable, stylish furniture. Finlake was a beautiful place, nearby was Haldon Forest Park, which was great fun.. We hired bikes and did high ropes - was very expensive. There wasn't much to do at the resort for adults, although... More

I had a long weekend on a couples weekend, we drank a lot chilled in the sun listen to music and they was fine with it, they don't hassle you at all, the lodge we stayed in was really clean and we had enough space. The hot tub was amazing boiling hot and was very private. There was great service... More

It was our first time using Haulfryn Holidays, and weren't disappointed. The site was immaculate and the staff absolutely could not be faulted. They changed times for activities to suit us, and seemed very willing to do this as long as they had enough staff to cover it. The activities were set at a fair price too, £4 for water... More

We had a lodge with hot tub over the bank holiday weekend for less than £300. When we arrived the lodge was warm, cosy and very clean. All the furniture, fixtures and fittings were of a high standard. The whole place was just well cared for. We can't comment on the swimming pool or restaurant as we didn't get that... More

Went for a family weekend break with dog staying in a woodland lodge with hot tub. By far exceeded our expectations and would rather come here than centre parcs any day! Nice clean lodge, plenty of storage space, nice pools although a little small, lovely bar/restaurant, polite staff, had a great weekend and will return
