As Travelodges go this is probably one of the better ones. It has recently been "refurbished", as in given a lick of paint, broken bits mended and fitted with flat screen TV. Very limited choice of channels though which is weird as it is only Free-view and they don't have to pay any subscriptions. Everything was clean, the reception lady... More

We have no problem with Travel Lodges. Generally, they offer value for money, especially if booked in advance. But, like most things, some sites are better than This hotel is tired looking and in real need of an update instead of just a lick of paint. Our room was towards the rear of the hotel, hence we experienced little traffic... More

We arrvied to our second stop over Travelodge on June 9/11. Check in was fast and friendly, and our family room was spacious and clean. There isn't much around within walking distance, as you at a motorway stop, you need to drive if you want a pub meal. We were too tired, so we at Little Chef's directly across from... More

We decided to book ahead of our early morning flight from Exeter so chose this Travelodge. We did not expect very much having only paid £19 for the 2 of us but when we arrived we were most surprised! The room was spotless and everything seemed very new and gleaming. It had all the basics you needed with a very... More

really pleased with this travelodge. we had room 5 which was downstairs, furthest to the left. it meant no one walking past the room, there was minimal road noise, very clean and the matress was comfy (although bouncy!). we were here for a cheap night away from the little one and were very pleased for the sale price. the curtains... We stayed for one night in a first floor back room. It was as expected, basic but adequate, with ensuite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities as usual. Our window looked out on to a rural scene and as we are birdwatchers we were amazed to see four bullfinches and even a brambling plus others in the adjacent hedgerow... More
