We ate here while staying at Westermill Farm in April. We chose to eat in the bar which was clearly busy. Initially it looked like there were no tables available but we were found a table and warned that food may take a while. Well, it didn't. We chose the Somerset belly of pork from the specials board and really...

This is a comment on the food offered in the'The Crown' pub in Exford.
Whilst staying locally at a B&B we ate here twice in the bar (not restaurant area.)
The bar area is unpretentious and friendly with locals enjoying a pint & a chat.
We were amazed at the quality of the food on offer at a very reasonable...

We stayed for a couple of nights with our dog, and had a wonderful stay. We had booked a king size room. It was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed, and generous hospitality tray .The Bathroom was very clean, and kitted out to a high standard. We checked in and went up to the king size room that we had booked. The bedroom was lovely, very plush with nice fittings and an amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom, however, was awful! It was very small and had mould all over the walls which I found very discomforting. I really think that we should have been informed of...

For a break in the centre of Exmoor but surrounded by all home comforts, the Crown Hotel is the place to stay. It's very historic and there's a friendly welcome. I stayed just for B&B and the breakfast was excellent.

This is a nice hotel in lovely surroundings and it's own beautiful grounds. Helpful, cheerful staff. Good breakfast but our short stay was spoiled by the disappointing food in the AA rosetted restaurant which was overpriced and some of which (3 chicken dishes) were so overcooked that I felt I had to say so - the response? " well, they...
