An amazing experience, would happily suggest to anyone, but would advise to go when the weather is a little hotter and with a little less rain.! Hut 5 has to be the best as your not surrounded by others, slightly hot in the eve as the bed is so high so take a fan!!! Utterly awesome for a weekend break,... More

Amazing what they have they squeezed into a small place. All very clean and modern with hot shower, toilet, microwave/oven combi etc. The underfloor heating is very effective as it was about -2 last night and we were more than warm enough. There is a nice patio outside which would be great in the summer but that might be offset... More

My husband and I have stayed here for a few nights. Yes it is quaint, but wouldn't go as far as cosy particularly if the weather is bad, we stayed in hut 5, the seating wasent really big enough for both of us to sit on comfortably my husband sat on a hard backed chair. However the rest was lovely.... More

Love these cottages. perfectly charming and well presented. all the equipment needed (including a wee hairdryer!). wifi was quite sketchy, but not a big problem. really recommend these for a cosy place to stay in the heart of the village. (thanks Katrina from Cottages South West for her help)

Last Sunday The Times ran an article about staying right beside the sea but there was one great omission .... but then maybe it's better kept a secret! Where else could you sit up in your bed and look out at the bobbing boats to the river mouth and the sea beyond ? Stunning! Teign Crest is shabby chic in... More

Katrina has equipped these with everything you could ever need, right down to a shopping bag! The kitchen is superb with Induction Hob, Multi-function oven and full size fridge. We prepared meals two evenings and found everything we needed except a cheese grater for our parmesan ( nit-picking really ). The location on the sea wall is superb and whatever... More

We have just enjoyed our second stay in this glorious B & B. Shaldon is such a pretty village with a lot to offer. Teign Crest enjoys a fantastic location with stunning views across the River Teign estuary to Teignmouth, so quiet and relaxing. Everything from the Owner and her family to the ensuite facilities was just perfect. Our ensuite... More

I would highly recommend any couples to stay here as a romantic weekend getaway. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the five beach huts in November as a birthday surprise. The views of the estuary were beautiful and ideallic. The beach huts are compact and a perfect utilisation of space, there is nothing we felt that was lacking.... More

I have just spent a lovely weekend with my son in Shaldon staying in beach hut #1. The description of a 'hut' does it an injustice as each one is like a cottage that's been shrunk to half size. Ours had a beautiful kitchen with granite surfaces and all the mod cons. Everything is super compact - the bathroom houses... More
