I booked a table for four of us in the conservatory for Sunday lunch. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We were struck by outstandingly attentive staff and their desire to please in a friendly way. We also strolled around the beautiful grounds. I can't wait to go there again!

Nice location and room size very good. Food superb and staff very attentive and friendly. On the downside some small issue in the room (torn curtain) but biggest downside is noise outside the room late at night and early morning (06:30). Not sure if its staff or guests but letting doors slam lets down the whole experience.

Stayed here a month ago and had a fabulous time. Met up with friends we weren't expecting and we were readily accommodated on a table for six instead of two! Staff most helpful and food delicious. If you're a National Trust member it's right opposite Knightshayes so an added bonus.
