Stunning location in a little Village in Dorset, lovely market town 5 mins drive away, the site is clean and well maintained and the caravans are very clean and cosy. was worried about some reviews but couldn't be more wrong (even the shower block is being rebuilt and is looking great) the staff are very friendly and well humoured and... Selected for a weekend camping trip based on good weather & location. The forcast was right, but apart from the good location & views, the campsite facilities were poor. Luckily, we were alotted a good pitch on the perimeter, but the central area looked cramped & difficult for new arrivals to access. The toilets/showers are spread over several old blocks... More

We stayed at this site for 3 nights, as a family of 5 (3 boys aged nearly 2, 4 and 7) First impressions were, "wow that toilet/shower block seems a long way away" "wow that toilet/shower block appears to be at the very bottom of an incredibly steep hill" and "wow what a lovely view". The camp site was set... More

Stayed here this weekend. Good bits: Lovely location. No staff The highly amusing lack of spelling or grammar in the vaguely agressive signage. Bad bits: Showers cold and the bolt on one shower has a sharp edge to it and sliced open my thumb. pricey Bad tempered none existant staff. Told our 6 month baby counted as an adult and... More

We stayed in the Log Pod for three nights in August and found the Pod to be a comfortable stay for two and a nice addition to the campsite. The Pod itself was a decent size for two with plenty of space for a double air bed, bags, cooking stuff, etc. Inside was clean with the rear window facing the... More

This is not for everyone you do have to walk up the north face of K2 to get back from the toilet block which are dated, cramped and in dire need of a revamp, I would happily pay more money each night for showers that worked were clean and slightly more modern, toilets are toilets at the end of the... i was almost put off staying at this campsite by reviews on this site, which is not very fair, as it is no where near as bad as was led to believe, you are able to enjoy the camping experience with amazing views, thank you to the owners for allowing such an amazing spot to be used by genuine lovers... I agree with the previous review that the log pod is too small for four, but for us, 2 adults and one small child it was fine. Not much space inside, but we only went in it to sleep. There was enough space for us to store a bit of food and our clothes in the corner, but everything else... More

The Log pod is so small that two adults and two children in it meant that there was no room for clothes or anything else. When we arrived to hand over our cheque the owners demanded cash having changed their policy. They do take Credit or debit cards or have a Paypal account. They then came round to see us... More
