I recently had a 3 night stay at the Lomond Hills and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff could not have done more to make me welcome and, as I was travelling alone, made me feel at ease. Dinner was excellent. When I told the receptionist that I had to leave early to catch a flight on my departure... More

I stayed in this hotel for several months and I really enjoyed it. The staff is great, always cheerful and friendly and the atmosphere of the hotel itself is warm and nice. Just a few miles from the hotel there are some good walks to do in the Lomond Hills Regional Park, and the views from the Hills are amazing.... More

We attended a dance weekend here in April and found a very friendly welcome at this family run hotel. The service was fantastic and so much more than you normally get in the larger hotel chains. Food was lovely and there was lots of it! Going back again in August More

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Perfect for the single traveller away on business, relaxing and safe, food was very tasty and service great, sitting alone in restaurant didn't make me feel conspicuous as in so many other hotels. Room was large and bathroom modern. Definately would go back if given the chance. More

Excellent family owned and run hotel in a little rural village. Very friendly staff who really want to make your stay enjoyable. Very nice rooms with comfy beds though you need to like stripped pine! Clean and nicely presented. Lovely residents lounge with a real fire in the centre, and with a couple of well kept real ales on tap.... More

A friend and I attended a dance week-end here and found the hotel excelent. From Friday High Tea to afternoon tea on the Sunday the service we received was excellent, it was truely professional yet with the friendly feel that so many big hotels lack. The food was delicious well presented and nicely served. The twin room we were allocated... More

Excellent high tea after an organised charity walk. Good choice of food , well served. My husband had curry which was excellent, toast tea, scones and cake. Service was good with a large party and the hotel has a homely atmosphere. Would certainly go back again More

We had a lovely light and roomy double bedroom overlooking the car park and village playing field. We had a problem with the hot water and all the Hotel staff were very helpful and dealt with this promptly and effectively. It is a very old building with a comfortable and homely feel about it. Service was friendly and food was... More

My Fiancee and I attended a wedding in the hotel and stayed the night. The bedroom was clean and comfy. The ensuite was lovely and also very clean, stocked with shower gels, soaps and wonderfully soft towels. The food at the wedding reception was excellent, well presented, served hot and tastey. The portion sizes were just right too. The breakfast... More
