My wife and I stayed here for three nights in early May and were highly pleased with the hotel. The staff were most helpful and polite and the rooms were very comfortable. Try to get a room that overlooks the Forth - wonderful views! Unfortunately we were unable to try the restaurant in the evening (eating with family nearby), but... More

nice hotel on the shore. we had a sea view room and the sound of the waves was enchanting. rooms are basic and functional. the bar downstairs was very nice and service was very good. Unfortunately, due to a very "late" night, we didn't make breakfast. It was only served until 9.30am on the Sunday morning. Staff were very pleasant... More

I stayed here in May for one night with a group of colleagues, and I think we all found the Crusoe to be very clean and comfortable place to spend time, beautiful location. More

The name comes from the local sailor Alexander Selkirk who was marooned in the Pacific and was the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. There are a few borderline tacky touches in the bar and restaurant areas to reinforce the association, but other than that this is a really great place. The rooms are bright and clean and have all the facilities... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night in April’12. The hotel is located on the quay of the small harbour of Lower Largo. Our room overlooked the Firth of Forth, the waves lapping against the quay below the window was very relaxing. The hotel bar/restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a good selection of beers and lagers etc. The... More

Second time staying here. Love the situation of this hotel, right by the sea. Had asked for a sea view room but due to a mix up we had to take a room in the old part with view of car park and harbour.Room needed a bit of TLC, was quite cold and had one of the worst showers I... More

Never eaten here before, but when I booked, the lady was so helpful and welcoming we were all really looking forward to it. Went with 8 middle aged ladies, and we ate upstairs. The restaurant is very cosy, nicely presented and very welcoming tables. The young female waitresses couldn't have been more delightful. The menu was excellent and very varied.... More

Stayed at the Crusoe during a recent visit to Fife. Hotel is located right on the harbour (sea view rooms look right out onto the beach) with ample parking. Staff are exceptionally attentive and extremely helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Food is very good - generous portions, fresh produce, innovative menu, excellent value for money, etc, etc.... More

Spent 0ne night in the suite at this amazing hotel, situated virtually on the beach in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. Warm welcome, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Food in lounge was excellent and good value. Our suite had stunning views to the west and over the Forth to the south. On a cold bright January, we saw superb... More
