Have just got back from a great trip to arran, cant wait to go back. After looking for somewhere to stay my wife and i decided to try a B&B instead of a hotel. I was a bit worried what we would get. Reading past reviews of brewery guesthouse I was a little nervous. We left the car in Ardrossan... More

Having read a few poor reviews we were a little apprehensive about staying here. However, we had a fabulous stay, and Ewan who has recently taken over running the place could not have been more helpful. The room was a very good size and spotless and had stunning views out over the bay. The Arran Aromatics toiletries were a nice... More

This was our last night of our Arran coastal walk and wanted something special - we found it. We had booked well in advance and paid a deposit. Just as well because when we arrived the rather shabby outside of the place put us off and if it wasn’t for the deposit we would have looked elsewhere. Talk about Jekyll... More

We were looking for somewhere to stay in Whiting Bay for the night and had been turned away by our first two choices so decided to try our luck at the Arran Brewery Guesthouse. We didn't have high hopes as the outside looked a little shabby. However we were instantly welcomed by Euan the manager who offered us the best... More

As it was my partners birthday and he had never been to Arran before I thought it was the perfect oppurtunity to go for a short break. After looking online we decided to stay at The Arran Brewery Guest House for one night. Even though there were some bad reviews for the Guest House  it was ideally situated so we decided to go... More

We love coming to Arran and so decided at the last minute to go over, as we all of a sudden had the chance to. We have walked by the Brewery Guesthouse before and never thought to see what it was like inside, as from the outside, it just looked like an overgrown, unkempt jungle area that no-one seemed to... My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and were delighted with the enthusiastic service, this B&B is linked to the Arran Brewery and we had a free tour of the brewery which was excedllent and well worth a visit. The rooms were clean with local toiletries which is a nice touch, the breakfast was delicious, again this... More

This place is a catastrophe and the only B&B that we stayed in which really reminds one of the old, bad, Scottish style of service. The rooms are overpriced, the staff rooms are a pig-sty and the standard of service is appaling. The only saving grace was the friendliness of the young people who made up the staff - they... More

We took advantage of the CalMac offer on the ferry from Claonaig to Lochranza to have an overnight on Arran (although an overnight is not really enough time on this beautiful island with all that it has to offer). On a visit to Arran earlier this year we noticed that the Argentine Hotel was being given a much needed "makeover"... More

We knew the place was being taken over by someone from the old owners but they forgot to tell us it was also being renamed! It took us about half an hour to locate. On arrival we were concerned by the messy appearance of the place. Eventually we managed to find Jackie who is managing the place for the owners.... More
