We stayed for two nights with four of our friends and we all absolutely loved the Royal Arran. The rooms were beautiful, well furnished, immaculate, comfortable and with lots of attention to detail. Toiletries, well stocked hospitality tray, fresh water every day, electric blanket switched on at night, plenty of well placed mirrors, hairdryer. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice and... More

We stayed for three days 17th to 20th August. This is quite simply the best b and b we've ever stayed in. The attention to detail was fantastic and Adele made us feel incredibly welcome. She thought of everything and as a seasoned traveller I can quite honestly say that I have never experienced better hospitality. The evening ' turn... More

Wow, cannot praise this place enough. Adele our host was an amazing lady, we had a lovely warm welcome with afternoon tea in our private patio garden (incredible cupcakes by the way!) which was such a nice gesture. The list goes on and on of the lovely things she did for us, bedtime stories on our pillows in the evening,... More

After staying in a Swiss 5-star-hotel very recently, the Royal Arran hotel definitely deserves more than 5! Adele and Peter really care for the details and go that extra mile, that makes you feel like a VIP. From a superb breakfast with a daily "treat" from the kitchen for the day, the priceless tips about walks and sights and local... More

We stayed at the Royal Arran with friends on 22nd and 23rd June. Very pleased to see the location was right on the shore, and the public rooms really made use of the wonderful view. On our arrival Adele, on taking us to our room, (we had booked a standard) said that she had put us in the wonderful four... More

We and our best friends stayed 2 nights at the Royal Arran Hotel 19 and 20 June. This is undoubtedly the finest small hotel we have ever stayed at. The house is beautifully presented and the views stunning. Our hosts Adele and Peter were, without being in the least obtrusive, thoughtful, kind and considerate in the extreme. The whole expereince was... More
