Had a one night stay last weekend and we thought everything was exactly as it should be. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was more than adequate and varied. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to relatives and/or friends and would use again without any hesitation.

A bit dated but who cares if the quality of location, service and food makes up for that. Great location just minutes from promenade. Rooms very small but well appointed, clean and good facilities. Stair access must be very difficult for anyone with a large case. Hostess tray quantity of teas, coffees etc very good and having fresh milk a... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Whin Park. There's parking allegedly for two cars offroad but they'd both have to be fairly small. Nevertheless, there's plenty of room on the broad road outside. There's a nice guest lounge as the room we had wasn't exactly spacious but ample. As others have said, there's fresh milk in a fridge on the... More

We stayed one night with our teenage daughter and we had one double and one (single occupancy) twin room. Both rooms were well appointed, with en-suite facilities complete with fluffy towels and toiletries such as you would get in a 4* hotel. Fresh milk in a refrigerator on the landing (serving all four rooms) is a great idea and definitely... More

Everything you need and more in a B&B - bedrooms were compact, but there is a huge guest lounge and breakfast room. Very friendly owners, who helped with travel and tourist information. Great breakfasts.

On arrival you pull up to this very welcoming and charming home of the Hendersons. Jennifer came out to meet us and we made sure that we cleaned everything off and we had ridden through some hard weather on the Motorbikes. So very accomodating we were even let loose with the hose to clean the bikes off. The rooms were... More

We have stayed here twice. It is quiet and very well looked after. The couple that owns and runs this B&B are among the nicest I have met. Very nice to chat with and very knowledgeable about the area. They put a lot into the place and it really shows. The breakfasts they make are great. My only complaint would... More

Just like to thank Ian and Jennifer for their warm welcome and hospitality on our recent visit to Largs. This coupled with their invaluable knowlege of the area made it a great weekend break.

We decided to stay at Largs for the night so we could catch the ferry to the Cowal Gathering early the next morning. Being regular visitors to Scotland but not familiar with this area we contacted the Scottish Tourist Board who booked us into Whin Park for the night. What good fortune for us, it was just a shame we... More
