This is a lovely building and location and the service is excellent. It might simply have been a one-off but our evening meal in the restaurant was terrible. Overcooked mismatched food. Breakfast was fine and it may be the simpler bar meals are better, but they give quite a build-up to the restaurant and it was very poor.

Stayed out here on the saturday following our wedding on the Friday. I must say it was lovely. Great friendly service. Pleaceful place to say. Unfortunately due to weather we didn't explore the gardens but looking at them from the windows they looked fantastic. Such a relaxed atmosphere! Planning to return every year for anniversary treat!
