Stayed here for three nights two weeks ago. A spectacular place to stay on Mull. Attentive, unobtrusive staff, very comfortable rooms, stunning evening meals and relaxed, rewarding breakfasts - if only other places were like the Bellachroy ! A transformational experience.

We recently stayed for three nights. The hotel is located in the lovely village of Dervaig, which in itself is in a stunning location. The room was beautifully kept; the staff are very friendly and the food is out of this world. We are already planning to go back!

The Bellachroy Inn is the oldest inn on Mull but has been updated so that it is a comfortable and characterful place to stay. The staff are welcoming and very helpful with local knowledge. We were on the top floor with a view of the water which was very nice. The bar lounge offers a reasonable couple of real ales,... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband, 13 year old Daughter and westie puppy during early April. This is a lovely, friendly, relaxed hotel in a beautiful island village. I've always loved Dervaig but never stayed before so decided to stay here on this year's annual trip to Mull. Our room was large, modern, well equipped and had... More

The hotel is in a lovely setting. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a lounge next to our rooms that we relaxed in after a lovely meal in the bar. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had 2 dogs with us and they were welcome in the bar. We would go back and stay here as... More

Dervaig is a lovely place on a lovely island. The Bellachroy is an old establishment and still at heart of the village. Like a lot of older buildings it's got a bit of a quirky layout but that makes for character. Our room was nice but some of the bathroom fittings were starting to show their age. Public bar an... We were absolutely blown away by the warmth of the welcome, the standard of accomodation and the ongoing hospitality at the Bellachroy. This is obviously a labour of love for the owners Nick & Debbie - and their persoanlity shows in all aspects. The rooms were spotless and maintained to a modern high quality standard. All staff were exceptionally friendly... More

we called in for lunch on a wet & windy day at the end of September. Although very quiet, the staff were very welcoming. We both ordered crab claw salad, this came with lovely warm bread, lots of crab & claw crackers & lobster picks. A fine meal, and very reasonably priced. Would definately recommend a visit. I believe booking... More

Not much choice in Dervaig - this is OK but rather eccentric. Difficult to find the hotel entrance - not good in the pouring rain with suitcases. Bedrooms in need of some tender loving care. Breakfast was fine. Evening meal in the restaurant was also OK. Hotel info promised DVDs, staff knew nothing abaout them, we found 2 in a... More

Visited this hotel for both my evening meals whilst staying in a B&B in Dervaig. The restaurant and the bar share the same menu and quality of service. The food is excellent and very good value with a varied menu to suit most tastes. The bar is lively and friendly, a few too many dogs for my liking, but that... More
