Lovely traditional hotel in fantastic location overlooking the harbour, great food and friendly staff - not sure about the supplement for a cooked breakfast but plenty of other choices if you don't want to pay the extra. Would definately go back .... with a compass next time.. so I can find my room ....

Great position is undermined by the condition of this establishment. It is in a great position with fantastic views, and close to a lot of amenities. The building is in a very poor state, and has a lingering musty fishy smell that permeates the building no matter where you are. It is a shame to see such an iconic establishment... More

Friendly and helpful staff, a bit pricey for what it is and the supplement for breakfast is cheeky. Nice view from the front of the hotel, limited parking. Restaurant was pleasant but pricey. Seems like Skye is geared only for the tourists these days, in Portree at least. I would go again but would think hard re, price.

Absolutely nothing bad to say about the Rosedale. Staff very nice and welcoming and nice touch to have a wee dram on arrival. Room at the front with a view of the harbour is recommended. Put Simply...The Rosedale exceeded expectation. The traditional feel and quirky layout allowed us to consume the cultural experience of 'Bonny Scotland' with aplomb. Staff were extremely accommodating of every want and need but more importantly the room and location were altogether stunning.
