Have not stayed here so can not comment on the rooms but can recommend it for straight forward honest pub grub at reasonable prices. Ideal stop off for a reasonably priced lunch.

Didn't stay here but dropped in for a meal early one evening. The place was virtually deserted. Bog standard food which appeared suspiciously quickly, so I presume it was microwaved. No harm befell us but not a warm and positive experience!

Food tasted awful, like it had been microwaved. Rooms were decent size but had old decor and smelled a bit old too. The owner was very friendly, but wish i could say the same about his barmaid. All in all, i wasnt pleased with the place, and dont think I'll be coming back here!

Enjoyed 3 days with friends for walking festival. Hotel ideally situated for the Angus Glens with good parking. Bar food tastey, especially pork fillet. Bar was lively but quiet for good night's rest.
