Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit. I am disappointed that you did not enjoy the fish and as regular visitors I hope we can tempt you back for a some more great ales, atmosphere and of course the steak pie. We are currently reviewing our menu and your feedback is very much appreciated. More

We went to the Clachaig Inn on a Saturday evening, after a long drive up from West Yorkshire to our rented cottage in Ballachulish.- We went for dinner and to hear the live music. If this is something you want to do, get there early - in the Boots bar, to get a seat. Good food and a lively night.... More

We decided to stay in the Clachaig whilst walking the WHW. Having booked over 9 months in advance we were given a pokey little room at the rear of the building, above the kitchen, with no view apart from a metal roof and the outside beer drinking area. The food was average. The wife had the Clachaig chicken and the... More

Thank you for your review following your recent visit. We are very much a family business at heart and have never been complacent about our location. We go to a lot of effort in sourcing the very best of local produce and I will be speaking to our supplier regarding your comments. Allocation of room type is determined by availability... More

We were staying at the nearby campsite in April 2012 and went to the Clachaig Inn for food and drinks. The food was excellent, with some real Scottish delights on the menu. The lounge bar has a great selection of drinks, including 7 real ales on the night we were there. There was an excellent atmosphere for a wet Wednesday... More

Thank you for your feedback following your recent visit. Maybe you'll try a room at the Inn next time should the weather not be suitable for camping, you never know we have some more travelling guitarists. More

Glencoe is my favourite place and this inn is part of the Highland experience. The food is hearty, truly delicious and good value.A welcoming atmosphere, with a few choices of bars so you can choose one that suits you. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Last time I visited I stayed here and the room was lovely, clean, funky... More

This well-known walkers’ inn, nestling in its spectacular location at the bottom end of Glencoe, has undergone a nicely done facelift since we last stayed, but thankfully has lost none of its charm. We had a warm welcome and our room, in the main inn, had been recently re-furbished and was bright, clean, cosy and comfortable with a spectacular view... More

Visited Clachaig a number of times. We were driving north and stopped off around 9pm hoping there would be a room available - there was and we were delighted. Within 10 minutes of checking in we were in the Boots Bar with a pint in hand and our food order in. The Clachaig never disappoints and it's just wonderful with... More

I had heard recommendations about this Inn and decided to try it out myself. What a wonderful experience. I had snowed the previous day and so looked like a winter wonderland. The Inn was warm and inviting, the staff friendly and helpful. Travelling with Australians we booked two rooms in the Inn (above the kitchen) but didn't hear any noise... More

We camped at the Red Squirrel Campsite over Easter which is a short walk from the Inn. We went in on the first night we were there for a drink and it was great, the bar is nice, the staff were people friendly and very dog friendly (always a bonus). We returned on the Saturday night to eat and listen... More

Thank you for your feedback following your recent visit. Whilst we are disappointed that you did not enjoy our food I can assure you that we have never seen our market as 'captive' and are neither lax nor complacent when it comes to any of our products or services. It would appear that our conscious decision to provide locally produced... More

Here are the positives: A good selection of beer and whiskies and they are dog friendly. Now for the not so savoury: Overpriced and they get away with it because of their location, they have a captive (captured) audience. The "local" bands are dated. We were in Glencoe for Easter 2012 and visited the bar on 2 nights. The first... More

Thank you for your feedback following your recent visit. It would appear that our conscious decision to provide locally produced burgers made to our own recipes served in an artisan rustic roll rather than the mass-produced variety was not to your liking and whilst disappointed that you did not enjoy our food I don't accept the emotive title of your...
