Had an unexpectedly good lunch today in the brasserie. Just a ham sandwich and ploughmans but full of flavour and great touches (drizzle of olive oil on the salad, excellent focaccia, for example). Much better than many run-of-the-mill hotels in small highland villages. Decor and music were also tasteful and avoided both kitsch and tartanry.

This is one of the most unique hotels that we had ever stayed, Full of charm. Accommodations were very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and Dinner beautifully presented and tasty. We felt the Highlands here with the mountains, glens and remoteness. We would recommend going to see the area and staying here.

We didn't notice at the time, but a few years back the hotel was completely revamped and now has a great mix of the character of the grand old building it is plus a modern, "boutique" feel to the rooms. We stayed just one night and also enjoyed supper in the bistro (and an ale or two) - thoroughly enjoyable;... More

After three lovely days at the Invergarry Hotel we drove the 80-odd miles to our next destination and parked in Pitlochry. In the middle of shopping, we were hailed by one of the Invergarry staff who just happened to be spending the morning there. A coincidence - yes, but she told us that the hotel was worried because they had... More

We stayed in an apartment in the adjacent River Court and visited the bistro on two occasions for dinner. Not only did this allow us to enjoy the food but allowed me, in particular, to sample the fine draught ale available. We had a variety of food including starters and would thoroughly recommend the burger and the venison Service was... More

Fourth time we have stayed here, always a delight. Friendly staff that go out there way to help, great food, very comfortable rooms, I think we have stayed in most of the rooms. No faults. We will keep coming back here without a doubt. Pleasure to stay here.

We stopped here as we were impressed with how nice, welcoming and attractive the exterior was.The interior was also very nice-fires blazing and nice decoration. The bistro bar was lovely and the staff welcoming.I have owned and run restaurants in the Highlands for 22 years. I have to say the menu is slightly over priced but I can fully understand the costs... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while travelling ( Oct 2012) We arrived having no reservation. The receptionist was most polite and welcoming. The the room we had was on the front. It was clean, warm with a very comfy bed. There was a log fire burning in the sitting room and the hotel had a very... More

We stayed here for one night en route to Skye. The hotel is a lovely building with a 'hunting lodge' feel to it. Our bedroom was on the top floor so we had to contend with sloping ceilings which we had to dodge now and then, it was furnished very tastefully, tea and coffee were available, large shower room with... very comfy place, well worth a visit. friendly staff and owners who were very happy to help, we were working in the area and stayed for nearly two weeks. It was really nice to come back to a choice of log fires after such a cold day on the hills, food was great, rooms comfy and cleaned meticulously every day,... More
