What lovely people, so friendly - a welcome cuppa on arrival and another after a hard days walking. Fantastic clean rooms - amazing breakfast - what more could you ask for - will definately stay again!

I've stayed at Dolgam several times now, once in a single room, but mainly I've been lucky enough to get single rate in a double. It's quiet and cosey and Mrs Davies always welcomes you with tea and Bara Brith (Gorgeous Welsh Cakey Bread). A short walk up the road is the Tyn-Y-Coed Hotel/Inn which does excellent evening meals and... More

Very welcoming and easygoing. Lovely to be greeted with a pot of coffee and cake after a day of mountain biking. Room extremely clean and roomy. Great drying room. Fab breakfast - especially the bacon and mushrooms. Ideally situated in Capel Curig - close to some good pubs. Definitely will be returning.

Arrived at DolGam much earlier than I had expected, but was I still able to check in. Got a very welcome pot of tea and a delicious Welsh cake. One of the few B&Bs which has actual single rooms, charged as such, which made the stay very reasonably priced. The room was compact but adequate, with a separate shower and... More

We have just come back from our second visit to Dol Gam. A lovely farmhouse B and B just outside Capel Cruig. The room we had was very large, clean and pleasant, with a massive ensuite bathroom, powerful shower and comfortable beds. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in the room. On arrival each evening we were welcomed by our hostess... More

We stayed at the beginning of their B&B season so it was very quite (I think we were the only people staying). The room was large, clean with an ensuite shower room. The views are great and it is really close to two towns which have everything you need for a trek in Snowdonia. We will definetely be returning.

As a family we were very impressed with our room. It was very large and very clean. A lovely big bathroom and plenty of hot water. The drying facilities were just what was needed as it rained for most of the weekend, but with a lovely warm B&B and fantastic sceneary what more could you ask for. We will definately... More

A small group of us decided to stay at the Dol-Gam campsite in September to do some trekking around Snowdonia. Despite the large muddy trenches in the camping areas and foot high grass the first few nights at the campsite we okay. The toilet facility does not have any electricity, which is not a great problem, but we chose the... More

We found Dol-Gam through Trip Advisor, we were on a motorcycling holiday including Sctoland, Northern Ireland and Eire, travelling home on the Dun Loaghaire/Holyhead ferry. We were looking for an overnight stop before the final leg of our journey. After checking Trip Advisor and seeing some of the horror stories in Bangor we found Dol-Gam. Facing the A5 in Snowdonia...
