We have been going to Tyddyn Llan, since the Webbs took over 10+ years ago, but are generally only able to stay only one night. Recently we stayed for three nights and it got better and better with each meal. The ingredients are so fresh and the dishes so well thought out. Simple and straightforward when they should be such... More

We stayed 2 nights DBB and were very much looking forward to it as it was our wedding anniversary. The hotel was very comfortable but rather chilly. We have no complaints about the staff who are always very helpful, friendly and attentive. Our room(6) was lovely and very comfortable but also quite cold. However, the main reason for our visit... Advertised as a 'Restaurant with rooms '. Felt very much like being invited as a house guest to an exceptional country residence. The welcome was warhm and the service was friendly, courteous and efficient. We stayed in a standard room, which although not the largest was bright and tastefully decorated. There is a tea tray with homemade biscuits and a... More

It is seldom that you can go to a 1 star MIchelin restaurant for 3 nights and leave intact. The food here has been sensational. From stunning seasonally inspired dinners (which have been delicious without over toxing me) to the best breakfasts I've ever had. if you want to be healthy or indulgent you are covered. The chef, Bryan Webb,... More

We have stayed here a number of times. The restaurant and quality of food are just lovely and the service is excellent. However, I am not happy about some of the rooms. We stayed in an attic room last time and, in my opinion, it was disappointing. The room and bathroom in particular are in need of an urgent refit... More

We stayed here a few weeks ago for a birthday treat. The room was clean and functional, the staff were lovely and attentive. However,I was expecting to be wowed by the restaurant, but was not.Very average and overpriced for what it was. Maybe the food spark has left the building!

We have stayed and dined here on several occasions but thought that our latest visit last weekend was our best experience yet. The venue and staff are always very nice but the food was first class. We had the 6 course tasting menu and could not fault any of it. Breakfast was great too! We look forward to going back.

We have just returned to Scotland after yet another marvellous stay with Bryan and Susan at Tyddyn LLan which we discovered some years ago and have relished returning to. Bryan's well deserved Michelin star and other awards do justice to the wonderful cuisine and Susan's front of house skills are consummate. All the staff are so helpful and personable. This... More

I've been staying at the Tyddyn Llan for many years The previous owner, Peter Kindred, was something of a character and this was our third visit with the present owners. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and were shown to room 12, a pleasant enough room that was rather chilly. The bed was comfortable but made up with sheets and... More

Although we haven't had the opportunity to stay in this little Welsh gem. We have experienced both lunch and dinner. The welcome is warm and like being brought into a home rather than a hotel . The food is just mouthwateringly good particularly the little appetizers that are brought to the lounge while you make the difficult decision of what... More
