The pub is great, staff were friendly. The room we stayed in could do with updating but it was clean and comfy. Decor in the room was a little dated but as I say it was clean and comfy. Had lovely weekend at porthmadog stayed at royal madoc room was clean but there was plaster missing on bathroom wall but apart from that the hotel was good very busy and the breakfast was great lovely food and so was the location was ideal for sight seeing, would recomend the golden fleece over the road for evening meal

we had a great 2 nt stay ere clean good food friendly staff sue harry cara thanks to martin too and to all the locals who made us wellcome we will go back so make sure the fridge is stocked up with bud cheers
