Stayed 3 nights midweek. Good location. Couldn't fault accommodation whatsoever. Bedroom ideal size for needs and free wi-fi. Value for money, food and cleanliness superb. Michelle and Michael very friendly and welcoming. - Taldrwst is a recently refurbished former gentleman's residence on the edge of the village of Dwyran on the south side of Anglesey. The house has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard, with all en-suite double bedrooms, and one en-suite double/family room. It has a large guest lounge and dining area and bar with comfortable seating and big screen television and small paperback library. All rooms are en-suite and have full central heating. Taldrwst also boasts a licensed restaurant where evening meals are served till 8.30pm with an extensive menu with courses to suit all tastes (or many anyway!).There is a splendid panoramic view of the Snowdonian mountain range, with Snowdon itself seen clearly from the front bedrooms. Many of the most popular tourist attractions are close to the village of Dwyran and visitors can enjoy lovely walks on various nearby footpaths, including Anglesey Coastal Path, and along the sandy beach at Newborough to the light house and old pilot cottages at the picturesque and historic Llanddwyn Island. ... more less
