Bill & Nesta Thomas and their son who run this working farm and holiday accommodation are honest and genuine salt of the earth folks who will go out of their way to ensure you are well looked after from beginning to end. They are perceptive of all their guests needs and tastes and nothing is too much trouble. Their friendliness... More

From the minute we arrived at Lower Haythog Farm, we could not have been made more welcome. Our room was superb, warm and inviting. We sampled evening dinner on the second night of our stay (having arrived late the first evening) and we could not have been fed better, had we stayed in a top class hotel. The food is... More

Run by Nesta and Bill Thomas from their farm house on their 250 acre dairy farm that featured in Rick Stein's "Food Heroes" programme. Warm, comfortable room with all en suite amenities plus separate lounge and dining room for guests. Amazing breakfasts + fabulous evening meals cooked by Nesta with all local produce, much of which was organic. Lower Haythog... More

Stayed here for one night whilst meeting friends nearby. Had annex room which was ideal as we didn't disturb the other guests when we got in after midnight. Had a fridge and an entrance cloakroom of our own which would be ideal for walkers and their boots! Very friendly service, felt very homely and relaxed. Breakfast was all local produce... More

We stayed and had a lovely time, very high standard of furnishings in bedroom, very clean too. Lovely breakfast with a surprise dish each day, and fresh fruit, as well as traditional 'cooked'. Found it quiet considering it is on a working farm. Near loads of things to see and do, so car an essential. We will be back.

We stayed over prior to getting the ferry to Ireland. Fishguard is only 20 mins away. It is a good location to explore the area, we went to St Davids and other places on the coast. The accomodation was quite nice and it was clean. We had two rooms, the children had an en suite but we didn't. However, the... More

We visited the farm for a one night stay and found the room to be sufficient, with a nice en-suite. The room was clean and the owners were frendly and accommodating, with breakfast exactly what we were after The one issue was the noise, not from the animals (!!) but in the morning from other guests/kitchen etc. as the sound... Stayed here for one night. Nesta and Bill, the hosts, are very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early (midday) but were shown to our room which was a twin bedded room with the bathroom across the hall. Tea/coffee facilities plus toiletries were provided in the room, besides a tv and hairdryer. We were made to feel very much at home.... More
