A lovely place to recover from a day on the coast path and recharge for the next. We stayed overnight having walked from St David's. Despite the beauty of the walk it was beginning to feel like a long day in the wind when we arrived. We had a warm welcome from Chris and the hostel is amazing. None of... More

Stayed at the hostel for 3 nights with three other families (children aged 7-17) - 14 people in total so we booked the whole hostel (all bedrooms but not all beds - still excellent value). Wanted for nothing - boardgames, books, internet (kids downloaded pics and created a blog of the weekend while we were there), guitar, ample kitchen space... More

Very nice hostel with some unique rooms (I stayed in an art deco type room) Feels like an "old school" hostel (As in lots of board games and books to entertain, no large TV, etc.) but with all the modern facilities you need - good kitchen. Could have done with some better kitchen knives, that is my one and only... More

I was looking for a secluded place beside the sea to write for a week - and found it! The hosts were super accommodating, and I found myself in a cosy warm room with a beautiful window view, with cliff top runs and spectacular cycles for my daily breaks. The whole place is clean, well cared for and delightfully quirky.... More

We had an amazing stay from start to finish. The hostel is really well maintained and decorated to a high standard. The kitchen/lounge/communal area is comfortable and inviting. Our accommodation exceeded my expectations - amazing value! The room was cosy, a good size and really nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable with a full memory foam mattress, needless to... A well planned and managed hostel. Friendly hosts and guests. We had a private room for two for L32 per night. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen for self catering. Nice sitting area with interesting library. Common room with TV. Breakfast and box lunch are available. Short walk to coastal trail with dramatic scenery.

Lovely hostel, helpful staff, good breakfast supplied (check out the carribean porridge!!) A great eco-friendly hostel, in picturesque Trefin, really enjoyed my stay.

We arrived after a 12 mile walk in pouring rain on the Pembroke coastal path and were met by the delightful Sue. We were able to dry our clothes in the drying room, have a hot shower and a cup of tea in the comfortable lounge. The rooms are fabulous and had a shower and basin in each room. We... More

Just back from a great weekend at the Old School Hostel. Friendly and welcoming hosts Sue and Chris have created a lovely relaxing atmosphere, providing everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipped and organised, there's a lovely area with comfy sofas, and a vast selection of books to browse. Loved my bedroom (the Art Deco room) which had... More
