One of the best Travelodges we've been to and we've stayed at many. It's on a country lane so very quiet. We had a room at the back so no noise from the car park. The only noise was from the birds! Everything was spotless and the bedding seemed brand new. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Harvester right... More

First time in a travelodge was a pleasant experience the room was clean and warm as was the welcome from Tracey at reception the food at the harvester next door was superb and the free wifi there allowed me to get my work finished. I was given a ground floor room which was spacious and well presented the ensuite was... More

Only stayed here one night and that was enough. Not very modern and staff weren't very welcoming at all. Only bonus about this place is that harvester is next door. Would not stay here again and would bot recommend!!

Stayed her last weekend for 2 nights. Room 2 had a very bad drain smell and the carpet was dirty and hairy. After complaining the very nice reception girl came to hoover the carpet and did it again whilst we went out for dinner. Honestly though should you have to ask for your carpet to be hoovered ?( that's a... More

On arrival all seemed well except they hadn't realised it was twin booking so there was insufficient bedding and towels this was rectified without incident. The room maintenance in the week was poor never a bed made always a shortfall in something either tea bags sugar milk plastic beaker for bathroom or towels. And on the penultimate day I returned... I don't know but I had a preconception about the Travelodge that couldn't have been further from the truth. I booked a room at Pencoed after simply refusing to pay the ellevated prices at the nearby Premier Inn where I had stayed on several previous ocassions. What was I going to get for £31... Well a nice pleasant welcome at... More

Comfy, well situated motel in between Cardiff & Swansea. Just a pity the Harvester next door didnt accept small well behaved dogs. Friendly staff, quiet inside & outside of the motel. Definately would stay there again & recommend it.
