Overall an average stay, room was not super nice but thats alright for college kids.
great location at a bargain price considering you are on one of the best beaches in Miami. The two bedroom two bath suites were great. My 18 year old son came with his friend and we had plenty of space. The best part was that the jet ski rental was right there on the hotel beach so that my son...

The wife and I just got back from Newport. I am assuming the room we stayed in was an older room. The decor was older and a little worn but the room was very clean.
The staff was courteous, nice and helpful. The staff recommended a number of spots to have dinner and attractions to visit.
The location was perfect...

Stayed for two nights. The rooms are nice size, but starting to show their age. Had refrigerator, and microwave, but no coffee maker in room? The parking is crazy and always busy. The location is right on beach with good beach view, but construction is going on the beach. Many good restaurants, and grocery within easy walking distance.
On Saturday May 5,2012, my Organzation the Progressive Officers Club (P.O.C.) had its Annually Scholarship Ball at the Newport Beach Resort. From the on start the setup of the ball room and dinner setting was excellent. Mr. Micheal O'Malley and his staff was so professional. that he was as cool as the other side of the pillow. As the president...

We enjoyed our trip away as my daughter and I just wanted a break from her exams and my hectic work schedule. Overall I enjoyed this hotel. It was noisy with the children, but again, thats what Adult Only resorts are for. Beach was beautiful. Construction work didnt bother us, the only day it was crazy was my last day...

We stayed at this hotel after a cruise. The front desk staff were very helpful, and were able to find us a room(there were 4 of us) for early check in, which we much appreciated as it was raining torrentially. The lobby is very impressive, but there were a whole lot of people lounging around in it, probably killing time...

My husband and I had 2 nites in Miami and chose the Newport Beachside for its beach location and reasonable price. I had read some trip advisor reviews before checking in so did not have high expectations. At check-in we were told we were given a "renovated" room, but that did not appear to be the case as it had...

I stayed at Sole on the Ocean, but walked down to this hotel. It was crazy. This is a family with very small children hotel, it was loud, crazy, chaotic, busy, and needed an update. Don't stay here, you will never sleep.
I think they have tried to do some remodeling but the rooms look and feel ancient. Same thing goes with the hallways. The lobby area and Kitchen 305 were the best part of this stay. Front desk personnel were very overwhelmed and checking out was not very smooth.
