I stay there now and then , some rooms are great however rooms 401 to 410 need a Reno . Dirty carpet ,moldy bathroom no venterlation in bathroom ,old fittings
We certainly are working on a few bits and pieces to improve the hotel. Carpet within our corridors is a few months away which is exciting, hope to see you back once the carpet is installed.

If you are leaving CBD, there is no better place to be than The Shire. We are a stone’s throw from the beach with great night spots in the area, however let’s not forget our bar Mundo Latin Grill and Tapas which is the place to be on a Saturday night.

Five star view TWO STAR room. Bath towels torn and stained, toilet pan cracked, badly stained carpet, plug too small to hold water in basin, elderly people unable to negotiate bath in order to shower, cheap,dirty mugs to drink tea/coffee from, unable to use fridge as full of mini bar drinks.

This is such a beatiful place. The accommodation is 3 star as rooms are dated. However there are beautiful views from the Ocean View rooms. Staff are very friendly and seem to make a great effort to make you welcome. Was given a lovely bottle of bubbly for my birthday.

We absolutely do have the best views, completely uninterrupted views of one of the best beaches in Sydney, and glad that our staff made you feel welcome. Dated rooms are being worked on as we speak, starting with carpet within the corridors which will be installed within the next few month.

Great place to stay if you wish to visit the city of Sydney but do not want to stay IN a city.
Room on 10th floor had fantastic views over the ocean and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The area is fantastic and very relaxing with many restaurants to choose from and a great train service into the city....

We are extremely lucky to be situated where we are, one of the best beaches in Sydney if not Australia with something for everyone. And as mentioned, the higher the floor the better the beach view, with most of our 10 floors having uninterrupted views of the beach.

This hotel is in a great location and that's the best part. We stayed in a suite at $400 for the night which really wasn't worth it. The bathroom is in desperate need of a renovation and they seem to have given up altogether with it being extremely dirty and very very mouldy, with just a shower over the bath...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was comfortable and clean. Had a large balcony with views of the ocean. As was staying here for my wedding, hotel gave complimentary champagne and chocolates which was very nice. Price of room was quite expensive for what you get but not many other options in cronulla.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a romantic escape and to have a rest before flying back home. The first night was ok but noisy because of the bar downstairs and we were on second floor. We then asked for a higher level expecting less noise and at 3am the people above us starting fighting and screaming....

Unfortunately at times other guests do cause too much noise at the discomfort of others. We are currently reviewing our procedures regarding our noise complaints, to limit these type of events.
