I wasn't overly excited to be staying at an Econo Lodge, but I have to say that I really can't complain! We arrived at 11pm and left the next morning, so it was not a long stay. It was very clean and quiet, though.
PROS
~Large bathroom, refridgerator, thermostat controlled air, limited breakfast
CONS
~no alarm clock, carpet was frayed...

Just an OK stay. I will tell you what you do get first. A clean room means carpet, bath, walls, sheets, and furniture all great. I was suprised at the large compact refridge in the room. Good for my race weekend. It was quiet and had good air conditioning, but then again I always take a fan for both causes....

This Motel 6 was a great surprise! The whole place was clean; our room was spotless and comfortable. The room was wireless and there was a nicely lit desk area for doing work. This hotel is a wonderful stay. Very close to Knoxville (30mins), Pigeon Forge (30 mins), Johnson City (1hr). The rooms were very very clean and very nice comparable to a lot of higher end hotels. Management was very helpful and they were courteous and friendly. If you are close to this area...definitely check this hotel out.
