Located in the heart of Kyneton, only 1 hour from Melbourne CBD, this magnificent property with surprisingly quiet and secluded surrounds, is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of inner-city living and only a short walk from Kyneton's famed Piper Street with its award-winning, chef's hat accredited restaurants and high-class dining venues. Mollisons has a range of accommodation available including: six boutique hotel style rooms each with private entrance, ensuite, king or queen bed and tea and coffee making facilities; spacious fully self contained two bedroom apartment with lounge, dining, bathroom, kitchen and balcony overlooking the historic buildings of Mollison Street; one bedroom suite with large bathroom, lounge and kitchen facilities. All rooms have TV and DVD; some rooms have decks overlooking the garden. Off-street parking is provided. Mollisons boutique accommodation boasts an ultra-modern interior with a tasteful mix of antique and contemporary furniture, stylish trimmings and novel decorator pieces; the type of luxury accommodation you would typically expect to find in boutique areas of Melbourne or Sydney, not the idyllic surrounds of the country. Our rooms are furnished with the finest quality items and decorated with individually selected one-off pieces and provide a showcase for Mollisons' luxury design style. All items in our rooms are available for sale and we provide a full interior design service. Mollisons Kyneton also offers visitors an exquisite retail experience with a unique concept store in the old bank chamber showcasing a range of classic and contemporary decorator and design pieces such as jewellery, fashion items, children's gifts, and clothing. Getting there: Calder Highway or V-Line Bendigo fast train.

I stayed here for 2 nights and IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THIS AD! The ombudsman should pull them up for FALSE ADVERTISING! How are you able to show pictures of other residences, perhaps in Kyneton, which are WAY NICER than where we stayed, there are no lawns, it's a couple of decent rooms in behind a shop!

Benita and Yvonne greeted us warmly and we were showed to our room which was a double.Although my cousin and I shared the bed it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time and there was plenty of room for both of us.The bathroom room was spacious.Plunger coffee and tea were provided.Everything was spotless.I loved the sherry decanter and crystal glasses.I had a little taste before going out to dinner!Shirley left her phone charger behind.Deb said she would happily post it to her.I have stayed at Mollinsons before and I am always impressed. It is in a perfect position in town.Walking distance to pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. Lovely garden with small tables and chairs under shady trees where you could enjoy a glass of wine before dinner (BYO but bottle shop nearby) Right in the middle of town too. Helpful staff with lots of restaurant suggestions.

Thought long and hard about my rating. Nice enough but a couple of things took the edge off. When we checked in I do not think the lady quite liked the look of us, we had been camping out bush but considering what we paid for the room I do not think it should matter how we looked. I felt looked down upon. Nice enough room but very small we could not both walk behind the bed at the same time which was annoying. Had a large bathroom but I would prefer it the other way around and a good shower. Not clock of any description in the room, no tissues and I removed a cockroach from the room- didn't see any of them camping in the bush! Nice old building but I think for what we got the room was overpriced considering it came with a cockroach. The bed was reasonably comfortable but we both had an average nights sleep. Nice and quiet location.

Beautiful rooms in a gorgeous old "heritage" bank building on the main street of Kyneton. Super-comfy bed & good-sized bathroom. We checked out the 2-bedroom apartment while we were there; it would be ideal for a family trip or two couples. All the decor is really attractive and the location perfect. Easy private parking lot at the back of the building. On the ground floor there's a homewares store with loads of nice stuff. Kyneton is full of cool restaurants, shops and galleries and the countryside nearby has dozens of wineries.

What a miserable looking lady that works in this gift store. we greeted her with a smile instead she looked at us in such a judgemental way. The store was as cold as her personality. ( weather was 4 degrees outside. No heating on in shop) Such a gorgeous shop where I could have dropped $1,000 however I refused to Spend a cent purely based on principal. This is NOT how a business is run - she lost a massive sale.

Visiting Kyneton at short notice. Called to make a booking. The lady couldn't have been more helpful, organised our room, and given we were going to be arriving, after hours, organised the key for us, then made a booking for us at a local restaurant. our room, bathroom and decor was all perfect, very clean & modern. Far better than we had expected.

Beautiful & charming accommodation. As a family we celebrated what would have been our dad's 100th birthday We stayed in the lovely two bedroom suite plus the downstairs single rooms. The upstairs suite with lounge & verandah areas was perfect to gather & reminisce. Hope to return in the future. Hotel has its own lovely gift shop downstairs.

Mixed opinions here. Bed excellent, and linen too. We stayed in the two bedroom flat, which was very comfortable. No breakfast supplies at all, which for the cost, one would have expected. No Wifi. All we got was some sherry.
