Came up from Sydney to spend some time in this winter wonderland. Lochiel is a truly enchanting place. Spotless, comfortable and handy to great eateries in Olinda. EVERY window had a magnificent framed view of our environment. So quiet and relaxing. Nothing was a problem for our helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

Stayed over Xmas while visiting family in Melbourne. Loved it. Modern comfortable cottage ( Treetop 1) with all amenities, huge spa bath, fire place, comfortable bed on top floor overlooking the rainforest. Centrally located yet private. Olinda is the perfect hub in the Dandenongs, on an early morning walk we even spotted two lyrebirds. Will definitely be back.

It was a birthday treat, stopped on the way from Melbourne at an excellent farmers market and bought fresh pasta, chestnuts, olives, local olive oil, beautiful breads and dips and treats. Great setup in a luxurious cottage with a real touch of class. Very close to Olinda and fantastic breakfast and dinner vouchers that improve the value of the overall experience. Only minor drawback is the cottages are situated very close to the Dandenong tourist road so you do get some traffic noise.
