Stayed for one night and thought the price ($165) was a little high when booking. The room was clean and ok but was clearly just an old pub room with little charm and character. The windows don't open, no air-conditioning, tiny TV and a few packaged cereals, some bread for toasting and a bottle of orange juice was the 'continental... More

Room average; service average; left the premises at 10pm in an ambulance with severe food poisoning. No apology, no refund, no response from the local health inspector.

You stayed in april 2011 & had just had a stomach stapling operation. You tried to get us to pay for your ambulance bill. Others dined that day & had the same meal as you without any problems. The health inspector did investigate & found that we operate a clean, professional kitchen. I'm not sure why you have posted this... More

My brother and I, along with our wives, enjoyed a lovely Saturday night meal out at Keatings. We found the host to be both friendly and informative. The boys tried the beer paddle, which gave an excellent of what was on offer from the onsite microbrewery. Good selection of wines too, including some local offerings which was good to see. Meals... More

My partner and I stayed at Keatings Hotel recently after I purchased the accommodation/3 course meal package on Wotif as a birthday present for my partner. We had been there previously on a day trip and sampled their beers which were amazing, however we had not eaten there. I thought if we stayed overnight, we could enjoy a nice meal... More

Good Points :- * Great Location (centre of town, near tennis courts, near Tourist Information Centre, supermarket, good restaurants, short drive to Hanging Rock) * You're staying above a microbrewery. The beers here are tasty, brewed on the premises and you get first dibs on every fresh batch. I got to try their chocolate porter literally the day that it... More

Staff were really helpful in putting together a great value conference package for us including a brewery tour, use of leadlight room, breakfasts, rooms and evening meals. I emailed the request and they sent me a quote the next day which I thought was great service. The brewery tour was pretty basic but the guy running it was enthusiastic and... More

This was to be where we spent New Year's Eve over dinner, with good food and wine and the possibility of a band but we didn't last that long and chose instead to return to our accomodation up the hill after dinner. The beer is great, the location is great, Minnehaha was great (our frazzled waitress - dressed up according... More

We stayed the one night at this hotel (part of the Holgate Brewhouse) on one of their accommodation packages. This bundled a Village View room with a 3-course meal for two plus two of the brewery's tasting 'paddles', and hot breakfast. Check-in was efficient and cheerful and the room met our needs. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the lack of... More

Holgate Brewhouse is a pub. It is tiny and cozy, just a small bar, with a lounge and a couple of small dining rooms and a function room. There is a nice courtyard dining area too. Internet booking enquiry was followed up very promptly, booking over the phone was done quickly and efficiently. Our room was ready on our arrival,... More
