We were there for a funeral. There were several families in our group. We found the staff very accomodating. The rooms very clean and nice. Nice size bathroom too. The breakfast was standard - beware if you are gluten free (no choices for you). The breakfast room is very nice though and allowed us to gather as a very large...

Room was CLEAN and comfortable. The room was also very quiet. This is a newr hotel with modern furniture and amenities. The bed was perfect and there were ample pillows. The best part was the breakfast which was a step above the standard morning fare. It is easy to recommend this hotel.
Stayed 2 nights while visiting Palo Duro Canyon State park and the Plains-Panhandle museum.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and had lots of room. We had requested a crib for our granddaughter and it was in place when we arrived. The desk staff were friendly, courteous, and
helpful with info about area dining. Check out the book store across the street...

This is a well run, clean and comfortable establishment. My room on the second floor was quiet and roomy. The widescreen TV came with all local channels and basic cable. There was a good-sized fridge. The shower was great.
For some reason, there was just an open rack for your clothes rather than a proper enclosed closet. The room comes...

Stayed 1 night while visiting Palo Duro State Park. It was very roomy and had nice clean beds. There was free breakfast in the morning which included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pancakes and other regular carb choices. The staff was very friendly and gave an excellent dinner recommendation to La Bella Pizza. They knew the town well and...

This hotel was clean; the rooms spacious. I walked to the museum, a must see. The superlative Palo Duro State Park is about 15 miles from here. Not far when you are in the wonderfully, flat (can see forever) west Texas!
Selected this hotel for its proximity to Palo Duro State Park and was not disappointed. While the facade appeared somewhat dated, the interior did not. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was extended, including a number of hot items, and there was adequate seating. For meals, goods and services, the town of Canyon offers a variety that should meet your...

I had planned our trip down to the mile and this was the perfect location for us.
The room was large, and laid out nicely. The AC worked great, Check in was easy, they had a breakfast but we were in a rush to get back on the road. Pool looked great but did not get in it. Would not...

This hotel looks a bit old on the outside but has been recently renovated on the inside. The rooms had nice furnishings and the breakfast was pretty typical for Holiday Inn Express. The location to the WTAMU campus was the best thing about this hotel as we were in Canyon to attend new student orientation and the hotel was only...
