I read the reviews after we booked our weekend at jellystone. I had mixed feelings about going through with staying after reading the negative reviews, but we went anyways. Ok....here is my review, we stayed in the back of the camp at a tent site over close to the group camping area. The first night ( friday) was less crowded... More

Today marks our 12th visit to Hill Country Jellystone Park in Canyon Lake TX. Our first trip was April 2008 after purchasing our camper when our kiddos were 2 & 3. This family owned park is a blast both for kids and adults alike. There are so many scheduled activities it's hard to keep up (i.e. exhausted kiddos by bedtime... More

We took our two boys for the weekend and it started out very well. We had a friendly ranger greet us and go over rules and information and our cabin was neat and nice. Our problem occured the next morining when we went to sign up for the days activities. There was a breakdown in communication either on behalf of... More

My Family and I stayed at Yogi Bear (Tent Camp) about 3 weeks ago. The Ranger Greeted us and Guided us to our area, Staff Members were helpful. there were a couple of kinks (Hot Tub- Not Hot, Kids wanting to do Mining But, having to pay $7 for Gem Mining Bag of Dirt-was a bit pricey) But, Over All,... My family stayed here for a week..unfortunately it was the week after spring break in Texas. Everything was shut down. There was no laser tag, no crafts, no gem seeking, and you had to ask to have the hottub turned on. It then took an hour for it to warm up. Their ad was very misleading, promising all the above,... This place is absolutely kid heaven. If you don't have kids, you won't like it. If you have kids, it's fantastic. There are a ton of activities for kids from about 12 or 13 on down. Older kids probably won't like it as much. The activities range from free (pools, jumping pillow, hey rides, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, etc.) to... More

Wow, I read some of the previous negative reviews and was so surprised! We love this place and have been at least 6 or 7 times. First, we bring our own travel trailer so can't comment on other lodging, but the restrooms have always been clean, clean, clean! We love all the activities and yes, gem mine seems a little... More

Pool closed early the 1st night and on the 2nd they forgot to turn the hot tub on at 5. When we went around 7 we called and they said it was to late to turn it on...pool closes at 9. Wi-fi is horriable, you either can't connect or it is to slow. Rooms are old and smell (don't wear... More

We stayed in a cabin, it was clean everything worked. There are activities but not daily, we thought laser tag would be available during the weekend but it was only once on Saturday. The gem find, laser tag and bikes are more money. Bikes $5 for 30 minutes. The pool is very nice and warm but we did meet the... More

We had wonderful weekend at Jellystone near Canyon Lake, Texas. The park is exceptionally clean, the activities well paced for all ages, and there were lots of ammeties. My kids loved meeting Yogi, playing candybar bingo, going on hayrides, jumping on the giant air pillow, mining for gems, and even swimming! It was warm enough the first day for them... More
