This is a through-back to the old west. Very nice furnishings and pretty much clean hotel. Hotel could use some touch ups as there is lots of scratches on painted surfaces and there was about a nice coating of dust on top of the TV in my room, and the toilet (old fashioned pull chain type)leaked , causing it to... This hotel is a step back into history with every modern amenity. You cannot beat the location if you are visiting the stockyards or want to have a late night at the bars or rodeo. The bed was extremely comfortable and the old fashion sink/toilet/shower was impressive. The staff was very courteous and helpful. If you are looking for a... More

This is a really quirky hotel with a real "wild west" feel. Our room was decorated in Victorian style but nonetheless had all mod cons. The whole hotel is themed with rooms named after the likes of Davy Crockett - an all round great experience. It's also perfectly located in the very heart of Stockyards. Only downside was the limited... More

We were pleasantly surprised when we check in. The hotel really fits in the overall old-times western location. The rooms as well as the lobby, although old (but that's the charm of it) were very well maintained and clean. The best part is the location of course, in the middle of the historic stockyards...The receptionist as well as the valet... More

If you want to experience old Fort Worth (Cowtown), this is a place you'll want to visit. The hotel dates back to 1907 and has an old western style atmosphere. It's not the fanciest hotel but it has it's own ambiance. The hotel is (as the name suggests) in the middle of the Fort Worth stockyards and the night life... More

Once you get past the "isn't this hotel quaint and historic" you realize you are in a somewhat run-down facility staffed by people who apparently don't care if you had a good experience or not. We booked two rooms, one, while smelling a bit unpleasant, was fair, the other had a non-working air conditioner, a very noisy ceiling fan, a... More

We stayed in the Bonnie and Clyde Suite which was interesting and kinda cool. We had an issue with the key to our room (it's a regular key) but they cut us a new one so we could actually get into our room. The bed was very comfortable but it was on the corner of the building above a busy... More

We stayed at the Stockyard Hotel during spring break and were very surprised at the speed of check-in and the informative valet/bellman. The breakfast (for the hotel guests only) was a short menu, eggs anyway you want with all the sides, or pancakes. But it was excellent! The restaurant/saloon H-3 grill and Booger Red's Saloon was fascinating. The history was... More

We are locals that enjoy the old-fashioned flavor the Stockyards Hotel provides. Due to the age and style of the hotel, a person could find things wrong with it. However, it you view the hotel for what it is, you will have an awesome experience. As in other areas with an active street scene, if you'd like a quieter experience,... More

We started our Thanksgiving in Granbury at the Nutt Hotel then drove on to the Stockyards Hotel. Being a holiday, there were people there from all over the world and what fun to meet land talk to people in the lobby. There was a large group checking in from Germany when we walked in. This is a perfect place to... More
