Cool old hotel in the heart of the Stockyard District in Ft. Worth. It's far from perfect, but it makes up for it in so many ways. It's "Western / Cowboy / Historic" on steroids. It's old, and probably could use some sprucing up, but it's so quaint and fun...who cares? When we checked into our first room, we found... More

Beautiful hotel, old west at it's best! Road trip just sort of found us in Ft Worth on our way home from Abilene Tx to Brandenburg Ky. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff. Small leak in the "water closet" type toilet. If you are looking to be transported back to 1900 Texas, this is the place!!! I am pretty sure I saw... More

I am married to a North Dakotan who enjoys celebrating the beauty of the west. We decided to have a long weekend in Ft Worth and he chose this hotel for the heritage. It could use some touches to bring it up to typical hotel benefits. Their wi-fii is spotty in whether it works, the bathtub did not drain well,... More

Location is the only thing this place has going for it. We had a street side room and it was very noisy. The room was clean but needs a renovation. We get the fact that the hotel is old but it could be a lot nicer for the rates they are charging. The attached restaurant served awesome steaks bur the... More

We stayed two nights in the Bonnie and Clyde suite which was full of cool stuff, including a pistol Bonnie use to own. It's a corner room on the top floor and it does get noisy when the traffic starts in the mornings (the road outside is paved). There was a hairdryer, refridgerator and a coffe machine in the room.... I'm local and stayed here twice, but in all honesty is is overpriced and in vast need of updating. The only plus is it's convenient to night life if you plan to party and can't drive. Doesn't even have a western feel to it, but more of a runned down feel. I'd say pass and stay at Hyatt Place in... More

My husband and I chose this hotel beacause it was old and the reviews were good. This hotel need some serious renovation. We realize the age of this place but the amnities were laking greatly. They only offer valet parking but, at a whopping $ 15.00 per day extra charge. Our room was strange, we had six windows but NO... More

Very cool old west hotel in the heart of the stockyards. Everything in the hotel has old Texas charm. The only negatives were the walls are thin, and it is loud on Friday nights. Also, no breakfast until 9 am on Saturday mornings. More

My hubby and I stayed here for one night for our anniversary. We stayed in the Sundance room, which overlooks the main street. Fun to watch the happenings down there! The room was decorated very nicely. Wood shutters, an old-time pull chain toilet. Very cool! Bed was really comfortable. Had dinner next door. While I've had better Prime Rib, their... More

The Stockyard Hotel is in a great location in the middle of all the action. It is a neat old property with lots of character, but not really worth the price in my opinion. The restaurant is also overpriced for mediocre food in my opinion. We stayed in the "back forty" room and one of the ceiling tiles fell during... More
