My husband and I stayed at the Palo Alto Creek Farm on March 25 and March 26, 2013, in the Log Cabin. It was a wonderful experience! We got the feel of 19th century log cabin living, but with 21st century comfort. Everything was perfect - the ambience, the breakfast food left in the refrigerator to be eaten at your... More

Amazing. Adorable. Accommodating. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here, staying in The Barn. Very secluded, serene, and simply welcoming. We loved the little gingerbread men upon arrival and all the food was perfect for our tastes. I love that you don't have to eat in a main house with strangers and can eat in your jammies. The porch was... More

My sister and I stayed in the Barn during a golf tournament at Boot Ranch. Wonderful place! Well appointed, the fireplace was great during the colder evening and morning. The bed was comfy, the food was good, and the robes came in handy. The tub with hand held shower was a little tricky to use, but worked fine. We will... More

My Husband and I visited Palo Alto Creek Farm on Valentines weekend 2013. We stayed at the Hideaway simply because it was the only room available that weekend, but when I told my husband it was the least expensive he didn't mind... lol That being said once we arrived we couldn't believe what we got for the price we paid!... We celebrated our 20th anniversary with a 3-night stay in The Barn. I cannot wait to plan our next trip. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We were there during a bout of cold weather, which included about an inch of snow (which is extremely unusual for this part of Texas), but we were cozy by the fireplace. The bed is... More

A stay at Palo Alto Creek Farm is a true escape from the usual pace of everyday life. In an idyllic tranquil setting, the historic buildings are tastefully decorated and restored in such a way to make them comfortable while preserving their historic features. The generous "breakfasts" provided are another highlight of the accommodations - a real treat! We stayed... More

My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary in the Log Cabin at the Palo Alto Creek Farm. I've heard that the Barn is the slightly more popular place to stay at the farm, but we would definitely stay at the Log Cabin again because we are "back porch" kind of people. The back porch was beautiful, relaxing, and we... More

We wanted to spend a weekend in the hill country and found Palo Alto Creek Farm online. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this has to be one of the most unique, romantic and relaxing places I have ever stayed. We stayed in The Barn, which was more than enough room for 2 people. It had a fireplace, hot... More

We spent 2 nites in the Hideaway, the smallest of the farm's lodgings. The cabin was decorated with country decor, the bed was covered in quilts. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, stocked with mid-quality shampoo and soaps. The out door porch wrapped around the house, offering a lovely view of the farm's goats & donkeys. The only downside... More

We had a great girl's wine weekend and stayed in The Itz House, it is really great and has everything that you need to relax and be right at home. This is really a lovely place to stay and relax. Very comfy and has lots of country charm. Feels like your living in a Ralph Lauren add. We did the... More
