We had a nice street level room that was well furnished and quiet. Did have a little trouble with heater but got by as they are redoing all their rooms. Had restaurants close and enjoyed being down town Fredericksburg and will definately stay again when we return to the area. Staff was friendly and nice.

We stayed in the back area, our room had been completely updated, what a relief. Great bed, very clean, very friendly staff. We have chose this property many times over the last 30 years. I highly recommend it. We had a wonderful get away from Austin.

Located in town on 290 right next to the best walking and shopping. Older place redone with new furniture, carpets and tile in the rooms. Fire pit outside real nice on a cold May evening in the forties. Good breakfast included in the price. Back section away from highway noise.

We brought a group of 39 people. All of our rooms were newly-renovated suites, which were outstanding. The beds were great and the rooms were very comfortable and roomy. You nay-sayers need to give the S-House another shot. Updated rooms are going on now! Our bed was spankin' new... we watched the crew put it in!
