This was a decent hotel. One disappointment was that we had booked a suite- I had called and spoken to a lady on the phone about whether a suite was two separate areas- and was assured that it was. We always stay here when we go to Galveston, it's a clean hotel with a friendly staff, located near the quiet western part of the beach, and it's also a pet-friendly hotel, our dogs love it!

Spent two nights there, mid-week. For me, it was just a place to sleep. No real problems. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean, other than dirty carpet. Didn't bother with ice machines, breakfast, etc. Front desk help was adequate to get me in and out, and the fact that their customer service skills weren’t very polished didn’t really bother me....
