I stayed here for an overnight visit to MD Anderson. The location is terrific, and the hotel is clean, well-lit and well-appointed, with a Starbucks downstairs.
Good place to stay for work but i wouldnt vacation here... It's clean, nice staff and i'll be here again weekly for the next year!!
This is a worn out hotel where the room are in need of an upgrade and the very noisy air-condition system is in an even poorer state. USD 13,- a day for WIFI in your room speaks for itself. It doesn't matter that its complimentary in lobby area.
I like the Starbucks in the 1st floor. Also the service level...

I stayed here two nights during my visit to the University of Texas at Houston, it was a very convenient and short walk to the university. If you are visiting this or any other institutions in the medical area, that is a good reason to stay here. Otherwise, the immediate area is not that interesting, busy with traffic during weekdays,...

More vibrant and less institutional than Rotary House where I stayed on my last visit to MD Anderson. If you need convenience you cannot beat Roary. But for follow up one night stay visits this is better. Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to MDA.
Concierge breakfast was very nice in bar on 2nd floor.
Rooms typical Marriott.
Not much around hotel....

I've stayed her twice, the first time two years ago. The location is great, and we used points, so the entire stay cost $31. Can't beat that. In general, the hotel needs to pay more attention to detail. We had a missing light bulb in the bathroom, a cracked vanity, hair in the bathtub. The beds were heinously uncomfortable this...

I stayed here for just one night visiting a friend at M.D. Anderson. If ease of access to the hospitals is important, there is no reason not to stay here. The room was of average size (king bed, not two doubles) - not cramped but not exactly spacious - and in reasonably good condition. It could perhaps use updating, but...

My experience this week at the Marriott was good and bad. I arrived after a nightmarish day, with my flight getting cancelled, 11 hours later arriving in Houston and lost luggage. I arrived and the valet greeted me and looked for my bags. I told them what happened and they got me to check in and they went to find...

Wonderful service while being treated at MD Anderson. Hotel is less than three minutes away. Shuttle service was excellent. Were taken and picked up promptly. Drivers were super courteous especially Romero. Front desk staff were extremely kind and efficient. Thank you to Nikila Bjelica for making copies for us at 11 pm. and to Wen Qin for prolonging our reservation...
