The Houston Hyatt was listening when someone said location, location, location. Too bad they were not listening to the lesson about updated and clean bathrooms. Nasy bathroom.. really? Hyatt is suppose to be a quality hotel chain. This property is not meeting that standard. Marriott has nothing to worry about.

We couldn't fault this hotel. In a good downtown location that was close to good restaurants and the Metro Rail, there was also a free shuttle service to any downtown area. Breakfast quality was excellent and the beds extremely comfortable. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We took advantage of a "3 nights for the price of 2" offer which... More

I was very impressed with the Hyatt for my first stay this week. The room is set up with all of the amenities a business travel could want. I was very impressed with all of the outlets on the desk and bedside table. My room even had a spare keyboard. The bed was extremely comfortable. .I liked being able to... More

My recent (Memorial Day 2012) stay at the Hyatt Regency Houston was relaxing and enjoyable, and I'd probably return -- especially at the discount rate I enjoyed on this occasion. But I noticed a few shortcomings which, while not at all critical, took some of the shine off the Hyatt brand, IMO. To wit: *my reservation for a smoking room... More

Overall a really great hotel. Even though Downtown Houston dies down around late afternoon the Hyatt's location is pretty close to virtually everything. The theatres, aquarium and train are about a ten minute walk. Minute Maid Park is accessible by the hotel's free shuttle (but is often very full making you wait a long time) but is still within walking... More

We are happy to hear you had a great weekend visit. Our "Hyatt Free Time" offer lasts through the fall and includes the third night free after two paid nights. This promotion is available at all participating Hyatt Hotels and Resort worldwide. Plenty of time to come visit for another baseball game. By the way breakfast and a late check-out... More

This is my third visit to the Hyatt Regency in Houston where I travel often for business. The hotel has a great location downtown where it is possible to walk or take a short cab ride anywhere downtown (cab rides downtown anywhere are $6). All employees at the hotel, from the front desk to housekeeping, go out of their way... More

Check in was swift and was placed in King Room on 30th floor with great views. Room was large and well appointed. Had dinner in Spindle top and service was great however fittings and the food let it down..Big Time. The carpets and table dressings are terrible and really shabby. I had the signature Avo dome and it was just... More

The hotel is located very much in the down town and offers easy access to public transportation. The room rates are exorbitant and on top of that Breakfast & internet are not included. Try to take a room above 10-12 floors and facing the city side. You can access the bus & tram service from just outside the hotel. Note:... More

My fiancé and I drove down to Houston for a concert. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The front desk and the guest services folks were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and very clean. We went to happy hour at the lobby bar and enjoyed our drinks and our... More

Stayed at this "first class" hotel and to be honest with you it's not even close to being one. Front desk service is poor, the beds are terrible, the TV channels are sparse, the restaurants in the hotel are average at best (but at first class prices). One morning the valet wouldn't pick up the phone to take my car... More
