I work for La Quinta Inn & Suites in a near by city. I know all too well about hotels, and trip advisor. I mean, come on people. It's like $49.00 to stay here, get with the program! Quit being rude, with your comments. It's a little dated, yet clean, the phone seems to not work, and the tub was... More

We stoped for a night in Kingsville and tried this place but wished we would have spent the money on a different motel, this place was the dirtiest place I have stayed at in a long time, and the rates were no better then there competitors.

Being a geologist, I travel extensively on business. Always on the hunt for value for the money, you will find that the EconoLodge is in my opinion, the best value for the money that you can find in Kingsville Texas. Certainly in much better over all condition than many budget establishments, I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to... More

After checking in, we couldn't park near our room because the Border Patrol was there in force talking to occupants. That should have been a warning about who would want to stay there. This place needs a lot of maintenance. The fabric on one of the chairs was vey stained. The commode was loose and leaked. The refrigerator did not... More

Quick, one night stay was all my friends and I were looking for and we got way more then we payed for, which was cheep!!! No crowds so very quite at night, clean rooms almost like new, plenty of amenities that anyone could want, slept like a baby and woke up refreshed. Would definitely stay there again.

Had to stay here after the power was out due to storms that came through. Stayed just one night and believe me that was actually long enough. When checking-in the little lobby smelled of someone's cooking, not good. After checking in to my room which was above the lobby, it smelled of that horrible cooking. Room was ok, one bed,... More

Sorry to report the room here was not fit for a lady traveler. I am sure a gentleman would find it acceptable since a bed and shower are usually all that a man may require when passing through an area on the way to somewhere else. The manager was very gracious to refund my fee and I was very gratefull... More

In March 2011 I called here to verify if this property had an indoor pool and was told "no" but there was a picture on their Place Page. I posted the review and called Choice Hotels. It was corrected immediately and I failed to change the review.

This is an older place, but it seemed to be clean, no gross-out like one reviewer's experience. The price was cheap, but the amenities were few -- the room had a fridge, but not much else. The bed was fine. No clock radio, no coffee maker (no great loss, based on my experience with hotel room coffee). Breakfast was extremely... More

RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! This place is GROSS! This place was a last resort for us! My husband, myself and 2 small children had to either stay there or sleep in the car because every other hotel/motel in town was booked.. I pulled back the bed and found hairs/dirt and stains on the sheet. We put tshirts... More
