We booked this property because it showed to be one of the highest rated in town, but it turned out to be old and in a not so great area. There are much newer and nicer hotels. Service and room were okay, but will not stay here again.
Shower doesn't work that well. Stuff were nice. Air conditioner is extremely loud and initiate every few minutes. Really hard to sleep there. Bed and sheets comfortable. Would not recommend but okay to stay just for one night

I found this hotel to have great potential, but lacking the extra effort. The breakfest buffet seemed to be day old. Day one, both coffee post empty. day two, coffee avaible, but no creamer. I gave up looking after that. Everything else just seemed to be not important. But I changed the second week to another hotel down the road.

Do not stay at this hotel! Stayed this past weekend March 9-11 2012, for a tournament. Hotel is horrible. I've stayed at a few hotels in Lubbock and really like this one because of it's location. It's not in the shopping area, but has a lot of things close by. Easy to get to campus and to downtown Lubbock. Friendly staff and clean hotel.
