A totally unique experience. The B and B has one of the very special breakfasts anywhere. Well worth a visit because of that and the unique way the whole place was constructed. Check the web site for more information on the details. The staff were more than helpful and a pleasure to be around. The rooms are all different and... More

Who knew something so bright and unexpected could be found in West Texas? Dense, saturated blues, reds, oranges and purples welcomed as we entered and continued as we explored the grounds filled with plants, fountains, flowers and smelling of fragrant earth and petals. We had never seen anything like it and the coolest thing, the owner's built the joint themselves... More

Staying over at Eve's Garden was a delight. It is such a relaxing, inspirational and comfortable atmosphere. I really enjoyed walks through the gardens and learning about the alternative building materials used to make this unique place. The rooms are intimate and enchanting. The owners were very accommodating and gave me the tour of the place and the greenhouse, which... More

Do you like arrangements of strong fat colors of red, blue, green and black? No? Me too! On a cold and grey Texan evening I arrived at Marathon Tx to visit the Big Bend Ntl. Park some 60 miles from here. In the internet I looked for a motel and finally decided to test a bed & breakfast offer in... More

Coming back to Eve's is like coming home. We loved staying in one of the new rooms with a colorful courtyard. The room was great and breakfasts were outstanding! It's always fun to see what is new and to catch up with Kate and Clyde and Noble and Elaine! Already looking forward to the next time!

Thanks Miss Betty, things have already changed even since you're last stay! We painted the new structure on the West side a brillant apricot orange with golden highlights! Awesome in the sunset. Looking forward to your next visit in the springtime, we've gotten some rain, so we expect that the dessert flowers this spring will be outstanding! More

I really enjoyed my stay at Eve's Garden bed and breakfast. From the moment I arrived when Nobel and Kate greeted me I knew this was going to be a great experience. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous, my room (the turquoise room) couldn't have been nicer and I live and own a b&b in Santa Fe. Kate even put fresh... More

Loved the hospitality here (Kate & Clyde really deliver with that Texas hospitality) and the entire ambience. Beautiful grounds and relaxing natural water pool (no chlorine - yea!!!) and really excellent breakfast (lemon ricotta pancakes, yum!). Threw our wet swimsuits on the bushes outside our room to dry. We loved the colorful decorating scheme - no beige here - and... More

I was very disappointed when we stayed here. After arriving were told the hot tub pipes froze, which means it was broken for a long time and they did not update their website as we were here in Sept. The exercise lap pool is too cold and no heater. Not really able to swim. The rooms had an odd smell,... More

Always breaks our heart's when we get negative words about our small family run B&B. Marathon Location: While Terlingua is geographically closer to Big Bend National Park, as they state Terlingua is out of the way in the first place. Marathon Texas is the “gateway to the Big Bend” closest town to big bend on the north side and a... More

We only stayed one night after visiting Big Bend. Our first impression was WOW! My wife fell in love with the sitting areas surrounded by fountains and beautiful flowers. As a photographer, I could not get enough of the beautiful indoor gardens and architecture. We immediately connected with Kate and Clyde as they shared their gardening and cooking tips. Our... More
