The new hotel is just south of the freeway I-20. The owners lost the La Quinta name because it was so bad. A brand new building was just opened a week before we stayed there. The old hotel is now a Baymont. A bit pricey but the place is brand new and great.

Of all the LQ Inns in the US, this one is ranked BOTTOM ... and with good reason. It has no elevators. It is not clean. It is in TOTAL disrepair ... to the point of metal carpet holders on stairs sticking up above shredded carpet. There were drug deals going on visibly in the parking lot and more motorcycles... More

Stayed twice in 10 days. Had 3 rooms in 2 stays. Major complaint is the worst housekeeping ever in La Quinta. Spent 10 days in La Quinta's and this place thinks they are in Haiti so don't have to keep up standards. Must be trying to save money on kleenex because it is never there. Oct.2, 2010. Have NEVER before in my lifetime ever left a hotel - until this one. Upon arrival noticed parking lot was filthy - trash, clothes, cans,bottles, etc, everywhere. Bushes even covered in trash. People - mostly young men - standing around everywhere in parking lot & walking up & down the halls constantly. Playing their car radios & dancing... More

The door to the room had to be pushed hard to open it. The bathroom shower's floor was very old and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator was leaking water and would not get cold. There is no elevator. They don't bring out more breakfast once it is halfway gone. It advertises a workout room, but there is none.

I stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Marshall for one night and found that it was in better shape than previous reviews had given it. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and the breakfast was fresh and hot. The staff was very nice to deal with and very helpful, even the breakfast attendant. I didn't see anyone... More

The hotel was better than motel 6 not to much better. We call the front desk for clean pillows. After two hours it took me to go down to the front desk before I could get some cleans pillows. The ice machine was not working on either floor.

My husband and I spent our first night in Marshall at the Days Inn which was horrific. Moved to LaQunita second night. Booked online and had a good rate.
