Very good location. Nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff makes you feel like home, very good breakfast.
This hotel gets its business from a student travel company which means guaranteed income. Too bad the place is so dirty as it has an excellent location.
Wash the curtains and marble floors, get a coat of fresh paint happening and rip out the disgusting carpets in the rooms and hallways. It would also help if they cleaned the pool...

Went here with EF tours and we were three in a 2-bed room. We quickly got used to the tight quarters and I really didn't feel suffocated. Everything was pretty clean and they had a TV which we watched to learn a little Greek. The staff was very helpful and courteous (they were kind enough to fit a third bed...

The Oceanis is not a bad place...but not the most luxurious of hotels. Very hostel-y. Tiny elevator, surly staff, Spartan room and bathroom. The room was very close to the action downstairs, and made it hard to sleep in. Food was less than impressive, even for the most non-picky people. Close to the sea, which is a definite plus!

I came to arhens with my EF tour group. Luckily, I didn't spend much time in the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes to get into town. The dinner in the hotel for me was grey mystery meat that was supposedly pork. On a lighter note,It is surrounded by nice stores and restaurants. It had terrible amenities, and tiny rooms.
We stayed in this hotel for several days with EF Tours. The rooms were too small and crowded. They placed 4 people in one room, with no space to even walk! I think it was a fire hazard. The food was horrible. They served us "formed turkey patties" 2 nights in a row, which no one ate either night. The...

Beautiful location, close to beach, excellent personel, wonderful bar. Some of the poor reviews are quite surprising and in my opinion not at all true. Upon our arrival the personel was friendly and accomodating. I stayed for 3 days for the marraige of my best friend from Athens. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I stayed at Hotel Oceanis while traveling with EF tours. It was the first time I have traveled to europe and I wasn't quite sure what to expect.
The lobby is quite clean and the staff is very welcoming. There is an elevator, but it's only a one person elevator, something I never seen. You eat in the basement which...

Having been to many European hotels I was very happy with this one. The location is just blocks from either a public or private beach, the street car which will take you down to the heart of Athens in 30 minutes for $1.00, the food was good, and the rooms had AC that actually made it cold! The staff was...

I went on an EF tour with a group of teens. I was really concerned after reading the reviews but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. This hotel is clearly part of the "cost saving" concept of the tours. With than in mind, the positives of the hotel were:
1. Great location 2. Mostly other teens...
