Stayed at the Hotel Alcala Plaza whilst on a weekend break in Madrid, the hotel and the rooms are clean, modern and stylish however its not the best location if you are looking for somewhere close to Madrid Centre which is about 20 mins away by train (4 euros) the train station is a 10 minute walk. Our ministry had our week long conference at this hotel. Food and rooms were good. The only draw back and this might be normal for Spain or Europe but internet was not free in your room.
