Driving between Malaga & Santander (605 miles), found the Holiday Inn Express, Alcobendas a good place to stay overnight (340 miles from Malaga). Clean room with crisp cotton sheets & choice of pillows (soft or hard). Good value with breakfast included (£40 through Travel Republic). Only downsides: £11 for secure parking & charge for internet connection.

My stay @ Holiday Inn Alcobendas was quite good. It is a great value for what is offered. Hotel was clean, room was very comfortable, friendly and helpful stuff and the breakfast is really good. What else do you need? it was a perfect stay for that price!

This is your typical HI Express hotel. Seems new inside and the rooms are comfortable, but the location is not optimal for many. I arrived late in the evening and was helped by the friendly staff at the front desk. There is no mini bar in the room, so you get your drinks and snacks from the vending machines also... More

This hotel is ok for staying near to the airport, but nothing else. There is no free internet, A/C is poor.

Small, but clean & modern rooms. Good, safe location close to Metro & Airport. Great breakfast! VERY reasonable if you pre-pay :)

The hotel is fine, just as all other Holiday Inn's, so in a way a little characterless but clean and with helpful staff.
