About a 3 minute walk from the Escorial Palace, this NH is a very nice recovered palace with good modern rooms. The place was confortable and clean. It has a lot of nearby restaurants and spanish "tapas" pubs. The place to park thw car is not so nearby, but is acceptable. I will return if I ever go back there.

My primary concern with any hotel is that it is clean, and this property was pristine. Our room was very large and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the linens were impeccable. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It was spacious, stylish and extremely clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. An ideal place from which to visit San Lorenzo del Escorial, and we really wished we had a few more nights here.

Didn't have enough tables for breakfast. They offer you to share with other hosts or wait. They had more, empty tables in the next room that the manager refused to use Lots of noise. We travelled to spain for a wedding and looked at the internet for a hotel close to the wedding and we found this one and what a find it was fantastic the staff the service was just great we would stay again and truly recoment this hotel to anyone the best hotel we have stayed at in spain for years.... Beautiful outside, and nice terraces in rooms. Everything else was poor: no parking (the closest parking will charge over 16 €/day), and rooms leave a lot to be desired: small, no bath tub, few and small double beds, a single plastic chair to sit in the entire room (and nothing in the terrace), and the decoration does not fit expectations... The redecoration is unsympathetic. This hotel mast have been grand before, but now feels dull and compromised.
