Thank you so much to Christine and Patrick for the most wonderful stay. Moulin de Labiquq was exactly what we needed, set in a lovely region with lots of lovely towns to explore and restaurants to eat at- it was the best destination. The building itself is simply beatiful and so tastefully decorated, staying true to it's farmhouse heritage. The... More

Myself and Robert enjoyed every moment and every detail of our stay at Moulin de Labique. The place is stunning – very tasteful and beautifully kept. Vast grounds and two intelligent and friendly dogs add to the joy. The hosts, Christine and Patrick, were attentive, helpful and a pleasure to be around. We felt like close friends by the time... We spent 10 days here in August and had the most wonderful holiday. We hired a car and mostly explored local towns and vineyards recommended by Christine and Patrick. We did venture futher to St Emillion , which was well worth it.. Moulin de Labique is a lovely, rustic farmhouse and buildings, made extra special by the attention to detail... More

Moulin de Labique is run by the friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working owners. Their good taste is apparent throughout the property which is in a peaceful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed and comfortable six days. Very nice breakfasts. Copious evening meals by arrangement. There is no choice but you can let them know your dislikes and they discuss the options... More

Where to begin with this absolute gem........? Stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon having found it in Sawday's guide. Location is lovely - quiet and beautiful. The house itself is typical of the area and Christine has decorated it with a wonderful eye and a complete understanding of what people are looking for. We were in a beautiful... More

We booked our short trip to France in a hurry, so were highly delighted at our good fortune in discovering such a gem. Don't expect sycophantic pampering or 24 hr room service, just the simple joys of the most charming house and grounds, with hosts Patrick and Christine serving down to earth great food, delicious wines and all wrapped up... From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home by Christine and Patrick who were great. The room was as described on the website, it was charming and very clean. The gardens and swimming pool were brilliant and Patrick's dinners were something special to look forward to in the evening. It was just what we needed and... More

We enjoyed our stay at Moulin de Labique for so many reasons. The accomodations were so special. It was the kind of place you remember for a lifetime. It is steeped in history, but has all the charm and comforts to make it the perfect place to visit. Christine and Patrick's hospitality was second to none. Patrick's gourmet evening meals... More

We stayed with Christine and Patrick for 2 nights in late May 09 - having found it in the Alastair Sawday Guide. From the moment we arrived we were enchanted by the lovely old house, the wonderfully warm welcome(aided by Max & Bessie!) and our beautiful room & huge bathroom in the main house with a large balcony where we... In late May, we rang from England and made a reservation to spend 2 nights at the Moulin du Labique -the 1st and 2nd of June. We paid a deposit of 90 euros by credit card. A change of plans meant that we had to cancel the reservation on the morning we were due to arrive. We rang and said... More
